System as manufacturing kit - Complete material kit with unfinished construction
parts
The sorting system compact offers a sorting option in addition to a production process.
In addition to separating the workpieces from the magazines onto the conveyor belt,
their material characteristics and position are checked. Then, the workpieces can
be sorted and ejected via three chutes or conveyed further to the end of the belt.
The sorting system compact implements the following applications: loading, material
testing, sorting, transporting, handling, pressing and storing. Aluminium and plastic
cube halves are used as workpieces. The system is available as an assembly kit with
unprocessed semi-finished products, as a mounting set with completely processed
components or as a fully assembled and wired finished device. The project documents
support you and your trainees in practically-oriented, hands-on training on this
system and foster independent learning and action.
Station 1 (Conveyor) consisting of:
-
1 separation magazine, standard installation height
-
1 sorting unit
-
1 separation magazine, elevated installation height
-
1 maintenance unit
-
1 conveyor belt, long
-
1 operating console
Pre-pinned aluminium and plastic cube halves are pushed from the separation magazines
onto the conveyor belt. At the sorting unit, a check ensures that the correct
cube halves have been delivered by the magazine. These are then either conveyed
to the end of the conveyor belt and taken over there by Station 2 or discharged
via the 3 chutes.
Station 2 (Processing) consisting of:
-
1 handling device with z-axis
-
1 press, either with hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder
Installed on aluminium grooving plate, 400 x 550 mm
The handling device takes over the cube halves from the conveyor belt of Station
1 and transports these into the press. There, the two cube halves are pressed,
then removed by the handling device and transported to the transport axes of Station
3.
Station 3 (ASRS) consisting of:
-
1 ASRS consisting of vertical and horizontal axis with rack
Installed on aluminium grooving plate, 500 x 550 mm
The transport axes of the ASRS take over the fi nished cubes from Station 2 and
store them in the rack.
