System as manufacturing kit - Complete material kit with
unfinished construction parts
Up to 10 stacked workpieces are located in a separation magazine. The lowest workpiece
in the stack is pushed onto the conveyor belt using a pneumatic cylinder. A sensor
checks the filling condition of the magazine. A belt conveyor line, 680 mm long,
takes the workpieces to a section where their material characteristics are checked.
For examination of the material characteristics an optical and an inductive sensor
are employed. An ultrasonic sensor with an analogue output of 0-10 V is used to
check the workpiece outline. After the check, the various workpieces are sorted
according to their material characteristics by means of 3 cylinders using 3 separate
chutes or the workpieces are carried on to the end of the conveyor belt. The conveyor
belt is stopped by a sensor located at the end of the conveyor belt. At the end
of the examination, the controller has the examination result so that the workpiece
can be processed further. The sorted workpieces are located in the chutes.
