The LOGO! TD text display can be connected to all new LOGO! basic units (0BA6 or
higher) without a communication module. It can display a maximum of up to 50 message
texts, which can display up to 32 characters per line and contain options such as
ticker text, bar graph or toggle parameter. This allows the operator to view all
relevant machine parameters in a clearly arranged manner. The external display is
configured with the same function block as the internal display. The user configures
a message text and decides whether this text is shown on the internal display, the
external display or both. This allows messages that are relevant to the operator
only to be shown on the text display, while information for service are displayed
on the LOGO! in the control cabinet only. Of course, the backlighting of both displays
can be switched on from the program and can also be used in continuous operation.
