The DSG training stand demonstrates the possibilities of automatic power transmission
without converter slip. The gearbox is opened in the area of the shift forks and
is fitted with a camera that allows the functions to be observed during operation
on a set-up TFT monitor.
The training stand is operated using a flange-mounted external 400 volt 16 amp electric
motor with a frequency rectifier. This allows the speed to be controlled. Gearshifts
can then be simulated and observed in different operating circumstances.
Also included are an original instrument cluster, plus gateway and other components
that are needed for CAN-bus technology. An OBD socket is fitted to the control panel
for connecting up a conventional diagnosis system. In compliance with safety regulations,
the training stand is equipped with an emergency off switch. The software included
in the delivery contents allows all actions to be comprehensively traced.
The connection with diagnostic instruments carries out from the 16 pole plug-in
connection according to VAG-norm. We commend for self diagnose and reading out the
error memory the low cost VCDS VAG-COM Hex-Can interface partno.(82251). Furthermore
you can use standard diagnostic equipment of the companies Gutmann Messtechnik,
Bosch, AVL and Sun or the VAG-tester 5051 / 5052.
